Joran

Hey there! My name is Joran. I am ready to tutor you in Mathematics, Calculus, Statistics, Physics, Digital Technologies, and even French!

I am currently in my first year of engineering at UC, studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering with a specialisation in Software Engineering. In my free time, I like to sing and have been part of the New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir in 2023/2024. I enjoy making music and performing as well as programming and designing websites. I love to learn new things and create.

I graduated Burnside High School in 2023 with distinction, gaining a first place award in Digital Technologies and Software Engineering. Along with gaining overall excellence endorsements in all 3 NCEA levels, I have also endorsed in Mathematics, Calculus, Statistics, and Physics with Excellence. I completed the COSC131 Introduction to Programming STAR Course at UC while in my last year of high school. Throughout high school, I completed the Cambridge Mathematics curriculum doing IGCSE level, AS level and A level Mathematics and Statistics.

As a tutor, I strive to boost your knowledge and confidence in your desired subject, and increase your motivation and enjoyment of learning by discovering how you learn best and integrating both fun and productivity into my tutorials.
