Polly

Kia ora, my name is Polly and I am currently a Year 12 student at Avonside Girls’ High School, available to tutor primary and secondary Mathematics, Science, English and Social Sciences, as well as English and History up to NCEA Level 2 and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or general science) up to NCEA Level 1. 

I achieved an Excellence Endorsement in my NCEA Level 1 certificate in 2025, with additional Excellence endorsements in Level 2 History and English, and Level 1 Science. I’m especially passionate about history, English and politics and will be taking a Political Science paper at the University of Canterbury in early 2026.

Outside the classroom, you’ll usually find me debating, keeping active, or meeting with various councils around my school. Balancing these hobbies alongside academics has taught me strong organisation and study skills, which I love passing on to other students.
