Alicia

Kia ora, I’m Alicia and I tutor both NCEA and IB in Physics, Mathematics, Calculus and Chemistry. I am currently in my second year at the University of Canterbury studying Chemical and Process Engineering. Outside of studies I enjoy staying active playing netball or heading out on some outdoor adventures. 

I am originally from Auckland graduating from Kristin School in 2024. I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and graduated as an IB Top Scholar (40+ out of 45). I also completed several NCEA Level 2 internals and sat multiple Scholarship exams, achieving Scholarship in Calculus. 

I have been tutoring since Year 12 and love helping students work towards their goals and gain confidence in their subjects. I believe every student is capable and it is my role as a tutor to bridge any gaps so they have the solid foundation needed to tackle any question. Whether we are refining exam techniques or revisiting foundational concepts, I am happy to work at whatever pace suits the student best.
