Esme

Kia Ora, my name is Esme! I tutor Biology, Chemistry, and English up to NCEA level 3 at AHeadStart Tutoring. In 2025, I moved to Christchurch to pursue a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry at the University of Canterbury, where I am now entering my second year.

I graduated from high school in 2024, ending my final year endorsed with Excellence. During high school, I took a particular liking to Biology and Chemistry, where I excelled and became inspired to take my passion further with tertiary study. 

In my spare time I love to read, walk, explore the outdoors, and spend time with friends. I love a challenge and I am always open to new learning experiences.

I understand that school comes with struggles. As a student myself, I have always appreciated those who have taught kindly and with patience. As a tutor, I aim to do the same while sharing my enthusiasm for learning with you!
