Sophie

My name is Sophie and I am an NCEA tutor for English, History, Classical Studies, and Physics. I am currently a second-year student at the University of Canterbury, and am studying a Bachelor of Laws as well as a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and minoring in Classical Studies. I have also completed several courses that fall under the Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics in my first year at the University of Canterbury. 

I graduated as Dux from Papanui High School in 2023, achieving 1st place in History and English and 2nd place in Physics in my last year of High School. I was also awarded 1st place in History and 2nd place in English, Classical Studies, and Physics in year 12. Additionally, I was offered a scholarship for Otago University in recognition of my academic achievements. 

Outside of study, I love reading, going to the gym, and travelling. I am looking forward to tutoring with AHeadStart and helping students reach their full potential!
