Tania

Kia ora, my name is Tania and I'm a tutor who can help out with Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Science, Mathematics and Calculus for NCEA Level 1 to 3. This year I'm a fourth-year medical student studying at the University of Otago, Christchurch.

I was born and raised in Christchurch and spent my high school years at Burnside High School. Through Years 11 to 13, I achieved Excellence endorsement in NCEA Level 1 to 3 and graduated with distinction and first place in Biology in 2021. In that same year I received a Scholarship Award for achieving New Zealand Scholarship in three subjects. Determined to get into medicine, I continued to excel in my first year of university and maintained an A+ average.

When you study medicine for long enough, it will scare you into being more active so you may see me on the badminton courts, on a walking track, or trying to get into rock climbing. I also like to crochet and play video games on a lazy day.

After escaping the Dunedin winters, I am now based in Christchurch and will be available for in-person and online tutoring. I hope I can help people along their journey and make school a little easier through being a tutor with AHeadStart.
