Yuxin

Kia ora!

I am Yuxin, a fourth-year medical student at the University of Otago, Christchurch. I tutor Calculus, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (up to Level 3 and Scholarship).

I graduated from Westlake Boys’ High School, where I gained Premier Scholarship (Top 10 in NZ) with three Outstanding Scholarships (Calculus, Physics, and Chemistry) and two Scholarships (Biology & Statistics), as well as Excellence endorsements in those subjects. I have also been awarded the University of Otago Prestige Scholarships for high academic achievements in Medicine.

I am very passionate about the subjects I tutor. My teaching philosophy is centered around teaching you the skills and framework to study efficiently and making the process of learning more enjoyable for you.

Outside of study, I enjoy cycling and hiking, and occasionally catching some Pokémon in the wild. I also love jazz and play some saxophone.
