Aimee

Hello, my name is Aimee. I am able to tutor Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Mathematics, including Calculus, at all levels of NCEA. 

I am currently in my second year of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Canterbury and was a recipient of the UC Hiranga Scholarship in 2024. I graduated from Christchurch Girls High School in 2023 as the Proxime Accessit to the Dux. In the same year I was awarded the prize for Physics and Economics as the top student of these subjects. Previously I was awarded the prize for Mathematics in 2022 and 2021. 

I am a passionate and motivated learner dedicated to making tough content clear and approachable. With patience and encouragement, I will build a students' confidence to be able to solve complex problems.  

In my spare time, I like to get outdoors and explore New Zealand. I’m into walking and running the Port Hills that surround Christchurch and, in the winter on the weekends I'm a keen skier at Mount Hutt. I also enjoy playing tennis throughout the summer for some fun with friends.
